I™™m not was easy to unpack and even easier to assemble, basically comes assembled, but you have to remove a few things to get the packing off. Plugged it in and set the temperature. That™™s it! It runs so quiet I had to let it set for a few minutes to check the inside temp to ensure it was working and it was.

This freezer is excellent. It started cooling when plugged in and was at the desired temp within 2 1/2 hours. The extra room compared with the old freezer is great.

This freezer is a replacement for a Frigidaire Freezer that had been in our home since 2006 (18 years). The 'old' one, after years of flawless service, 'gave it up.' Our new Frigidaire Freezer (and we specifically wanted a Frigidaire again) has measured up thus far. Easy to install - cooled down quickly - and is working like a charm. Looking forward to at least 18 more years until we have to replace again.

Our new upright freezer has some features that were long overdue! It has an alarm that will sound and a light that will flash when the door is left open or the temperature drops below a certain level. I hope we never need either, but how much do we wish our old freezer had those features before we lost a freezer full of beef!

When our older freezer bit the dust, I searched for a new one with consistently high ratings. Frigidaire was the best choice. I not only got a shiny new appliance, I got 16 cubic feet of storage - space to stock up on sales and for all the meals I prep. There are features I really like ™" the interior light makes it easy to find everything, the basket at the bottom is so convenient for small packages, and the adjustable shelves make it easy to arrange space just the way I like. The freezer is so easy to move with its wheels so I™™ll be able to clean underneath. I™™m so glad others steered me to Frigidaire™™s freezer and really happy to spread the word that it really is terrific.

We have had issues since the beginning with this freezer, and they are getting worse. We really should have complained while it was still under warranty, but we didn't. Lesson learned.1. The shelves never fit quite right, and fall off the ledges easily.2. The seal on the door was never great, and we had to make sure to push it closed.3. Now there is a huge build-up of ice in the freezer.4. Finally - you can see that the sides are bowed out - which is probably the main cause of these issues.The only reason I gave it 2 starts, is because the food still stays frozen.

When our 28 year old 21 CU. Ft. Freezer died we purchased a 16 CU Ft Upright Freezer from Warner Stellan. We downsized to a smaller freezer because our household is smaller now. The new freezer has provided ample storage area for all the frozen good we have.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is cuz the temp control is on the back panel inside the freezer. Doesn't seem like it would be hard to mount that up front where it would be easier to access when there is food in the freezer.

Love our new freezer, so far. Consistent temp AND it has an alarm that sounds if it loses power. Our last freezer lost power while we were out of town- what a stinky huge mess to clean up upon our return. An alarm would have let our house-sitter know about a problem before all the food was ruined. Good job, Frigidaire!

My Kenmore upright freezer from 2012 just expired in August 2024. It worked all these years with no problems. I checked with Consumer Reports and they advised this Frigidaire model upright freezer was a top recommendation. So I bought it and I am not disappointed. There is frosty air blowing throughout the freezer and it's quiet. I have it in the kitchen. You won't be disappointed.

Not sure if I™™m more disappointed in the customer service or the product itself. Not even 2 years after date of manufacture the freezer gave out compressor and condenser losing thousands of dollars in meat. Called customer service because I was 2 months over the 1 year warranty nothing they could do. When I asked to speak to a tech for tips on replacing the parts myself all they would do is refer me to the local repair company.
